I am Francis Alariba Amore, a second-year Nursing student at KNUST. I come from Zebilla in the Upper East region of Ghana. I am interested in reading and socializing but my major interest is helping the school-going children in my community discover and develop their potential. I live in a community where there is a rampant dropout of school among the young ones and that has become my interest. What I want to achieve in life is to gain the knowledge and skills needed for community development. As a nursing student, I wish to attain the highest level in my field of study in order to gain the necessary competencies to deliver quality health care to my clients and also expand my help to the underprivileged in society. Throughout my educational journey, it has been very tough with a lot of financial challenges, but determination has kept me moving. The Scholarship given to me by Eleos Cares Foundation has relieved me of such challenges and eased the pressure on my parents. I am very proud and blessed to be a beneficiary of this Foundation.
