My name is George Owusu, and I hail from Sekyere in the Sekyere Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti region. I am currently a third-year Nursing student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), having completed Senior High School at Opoku Ware School in 2021. After SHS, I took a gap year to work and save for college. However, the financial burden of pursuing Nursing became overwhelming. Fortunately, Eleos Cares Foundation intervened, easing my financial worries through their scholarship. This generous support covered my accommodation and tuition fees, enabling me to focus on my studies. I chose Nursing because I'm passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives. My ultimate ambition is to become a researcher in Nursing, contributing to the advancement of healthcare knowledge and practices that benefit my community. In the future, I envision myself conducting research that informs healthcare policies, promotes evidence-based practice, and improves patient outcomes. I'm committed to being a catalyst for positive change and improving the well-being of those around me. I'm deeply grateful to Eleos Cares Foundation for their kindness and support.
