Gloria Duah is my name. I hail from Ahwerewa Bontefufuom in the Ashanti region of Ghana, but I reside at Asuofia. I love to read, sing, and dance. My favorite quote is "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" by Eleanor Roosevelt. I'm a student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) reading Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. Contribution to the health needs and providing lasting solutions to health problems for susceptible regions in my country is what motivates me in my programme of study. As a result, becoming a medical laboratory scientist and a specialist in Immunology is something that would like to be and believe to be a perfect career objective for me. I love to volunteer and educate people on healthy living because that is one of the major ways of solving the health problems of people in these susceptible areas. Owing to that I have visited a few schools in some rural areas to educate them on personal hygiene, reproductive health and menstrual hygiene. Becoming a beneficiary of the Eleos Cares Foundation scholarship is something that I'm really and will always be overwhelmed with. It has taken away the stress of working and studying in school, the burden of repaying student loans and given me much focus in my education and career path. This scholarship has made me gain many grounds to pushing beyond limits, reaching my full potential, and also giving back to the community in every way I can. God bless you Eleos Cares Foundation
