I am Mary Sintim, a 3rd year Doctor of Optometry undergraduate student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, and also an old girl of Aburi Girls Senior High School. I stay at Kasoa and I am in my early twenties. I am the first among 6 children. I was among the NSMQ team in my SHS and was appointed the team's captain. I also participated in Robotics club and Science and Maths club in my SHS. I have a very big dream of being a doctor in the future. I actually had everything going as planned but unfortunately, this dream of mine was about to be lost totally when my father was diagnosed of end stage kidney failure and also tested positive for Hepatitis B. The treatment and management of these illnesses including medication and dialysis cost us all our fortunes, and just within some few months, we lost everything and even sold most of our properties. We owed a lot of people but to no avail, my daddy passed away. He died sadly and was hopelessly survived by my mom, myself and siblings. But with the intervention of ELEOS CARES FOUNDATION I now have hope to continue to make my daddy proud in heaven and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor. Eleos Cares Foundation’s financial support has removed the extra burden on my mother, a single parent taking care of six children. I love you Eleos. I am very grateful for everything you are doing for me. I believe and I know God will continue to bless you abundantly forever. LONG LIVE ELEOS.
